Registration is closed – Is there a waiting list?
There was one, but it has now been closed as well. People on the list will be updated on a regular basis regarding their status.
I registered online – what is the deadline for submitting the registration fee payment?
We encourage credit card payment via our secure payment site. You may also pay by check or using funds available in your library’s MINITEX account. Payments made by check should be mailed within 10 days of registration, and must be received no later than February 28, 2015. MINITEX will confirm that you have sufficient funds on account and will remit payment to the conference on your behalf by the payment deadline. Any registration where payment has not been received by February 28th will be canceled.
What is the mailing address for sending conference registration payment?
Those conference participants who choose to pay registration fees by check can mail the full two-day conference or single day registration fees, payable to Macalester College, to the address provided below Check payments must be received by February 28th or registration will be canceled.

Is it possible to get a refund of conference registration fee if unable to attend?
A full refund of the conference registration fee is available to individuals who find themselves unable to attend if the refund request is received in writing (email to email@example.com is acceptable) no later than February 28. Refund requests received in writing on or after March 1st but on or before March 11th will receive a refund of registration fees minus a $35 processing fee. No refund is available after March 11th.
If I am unable to attend, can I transfer my registration to a co-worker?
If you have registered and then find yourself unable to attend, you can arrange to have a co-worker attend in your place if these arrangements are made no later than March 16th. In these situations, we will do our best to allow the co-worker to change session and meal option selections, subject to availability. To arrange for this accommodation, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note: we are not able to accommodate splitting a full conference registration into two separate single-day registrations.

What meals are included with the registration fee?
Each day of the conference, attendees will be offered a light continental breakfast during the morning registration/check in time, lunch featuring both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options around the noon hour, and an afternoon break featuring beverage selection. In addition, continuous coffee will be provided throughout the day. All are included in the conference registration fee.
I am a vegetarian/vegan or have special dietary needs – will you be able to accommodate this?
There will be vegetarian options available during both meals and breaks. If you have any other special dietary needs, please let us know. Please include your information in the space provided on the ‘meal option selection’ page of the registration process. We will do our best to accommodate all dietary needs. When you are at the conference, if you are not easily able to identify the options that work for your needs, please let the servers know. They will be happy to help.
CEUs / CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE
Are continuing education credits available through this conference?
No arrangements have been made by conference planners to provide any sort of continuing education units/credits for attendance at this conference.
Can I receive a ‘Certificate of Attendance’ for this conference?
We can provide a conference certificate of conference attendance to any conference attendee who requests one. Please notify email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to receive such a certificate. It will be emailed to you approximately a week after the conference closes.

How do I get to Macalester?
Macalester College is located at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Snelling Avenue in St. Paul. The street address for the College is 1600 Grand Avenue in St. Paul.

From Interstate 94…
Exit on Snelling Avenue and go south on Snelling Avenue to Grand Avenue. Turn right (west) on Grand Avenue and go one block. Turn left (south) on Macalester Street and follow signs to visitor parking.
From the north on Interstate 35…
Take 35E into St. Paul. Exit to Interstate 94 westbound, and follow the directions above.
From the south on Interstate 35…
Take I-35E into St. Paul. Exit at Ayd Mill Road (exit #104B). At second light, take a left onto Grand Avenue (westbound). One block after crossing Snelling Avenue, turn left (south) onto Macalester Street. Follow signs to visitor parking.
From the airport…
Follow the signs for St. Paul/Highway 5. After you cross the river, exit right onto Edgcumbe Road (keep left as you exit) and follow for 1 mile; stay to the left and take Fairview Avenue. Follow Fairview Avenue for 2 miles. Turn right (east) on Grand Avenue and go three blocks to Macalester Street. Turn right (south) and follow signs to visitor parking.
Once I get to Macalester, where should I park?
Parking at Macalester College is free and requires no campus parking permit. Library Technology Conference participants are encouraged to park using the large parking areas located just to the west and south of the Janet Wallace Fine Arts Center. Please follow the signs posted to direct you to these parking areas. While limited street parking is available, this is NOT recommended for conference participants. Many areas near campus have limits of two hours on street parking and these limits are monitored closely by the St. Paul Police Department. Violators may be ticketed.
